The Jezabels Announce New Album ‘Synthia’ & 2016 National Tour

It’s a BIG day for fans of The Jezabels, because the indie-rockers have announced their third studio album, Synthia, have locked in a 2016 national tour and have also dropped the first taste of their recent studio sessions in the form of new track Come Alive.

Synthia, the follow-up to 2014’s The Brink, is the result of eighteen months of writing and recording by The Jezabels, under the guidance of their longtime producer Lachlan Mitchell. The album is set for release on 12th February next year.

Come Alive (below) isn’t the first official single from the album, but the six-minute jam is a taste of things to come, with the first single expected in early 2016.

The Jezabels will be taking their stack of new material out on the road in February and March, with five headline shows lined up around the country. Supporting the band at all shows will be rising Aussie electro-pop artist Eves The Behavior.

The Jezabels’ 2016 Synthia national tour kicks off in Melbourne on 26th February. Catch full tour and details alongside Come Alive, below.

UPDATE 22/01/16: The Jezabels have cancelled their upcoming album tour and other touring commitments, while keyboardist Heather Shannon undertakes medical treatment for a unique type of ovarian cancer.
