Jimmy Eat World’s ‘Futures’ Anniversary Tour Is Coming To Australia

Arizona-based rock band Jimmy Eat World have announced that they will be touring Australia this November to celebrate a decade since the 2004 release of their fifth studio album Futures. The Futures 10 Year Anniversary Tour is set to revive some of the band’s most popular songs, including Pain (below), Work and 23 as the album is played in its entirety.

Since forming in 1994, Jimmy Eat World have released 8 studio albums, their latest being 2013’s Damage. Consisting of Jim Adkins, Rick Burch, Tom Linto and Zach Lind, the band are poised to play in all Australia’s capital cities, as well as in Auckland, on the Futures 10 Year Anniversary Tour. The group will reach Australia after touring the album across the US.

Jimmy Eat World were in the country earlier this year for a run of Soundwave 2014 dates and sidewaves, but their last headlining tour of the country was back in 2011, so fans are no doubt excited for these forthcoming shows.

Jimmy Eat World’s Futures 10 Year Anniversary Tour kicks off in Auckland on Saturday, 8th November, before moving through Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
