Josh Pyke clearly isn’t going to let being halfway through a national run of headlining tours stop him from releasing new offerings from his current album The Beginning And The End Of Everything, just dropping the video component for track Warm In Winter.
Set in the restless streets of New York City, the clip, directed by Melvin Montalban, uses a mixture of animation and real-life to get the job done, with the lead male having the head of a wolf. Finding love in an unlikely way, wolf-man and his new squeeze take on the would-be lonesome nighttime with nowhere to call home.
Those who already have their hands on the record will be familiar with Warm In Winter as one of the darker tunes on the release, following the narrative of an unwanted dream and its consequences.
