Kasabian Confirmed to Play Big Day Out 2012?

UK band Kasabian look like they are the first confirmed band on the Big Day Out 2012 line-up. With the official announcement just around the corner, now is usually the time of the year when rumours, predictions and leaks begin to surface. We’ve already heard the likes of Blink-182, Eminem and even Prince being thrown on to the possible line up.

But it looks like Kasabian have beaten them all to the post as the first band “officially” confirmed on the line-up. Triple M reporter Nui Te Koha has revealed it on Hot Breakfast this morning.

It hasn’t been long since they saw us last, appearing on the BDO 2010 line-up, and touring here in July last year.

The band are currently on the verge of releasing a new album, Velociraptor!, which is due for release next month.
