Kevin Parker Just Dropped A Completely Re-Imagined Version Of Tame Impala’s ‘The Slow Rush’ LP & It’s A Trip

Kevin Parker has used his down time in iso to completely re-mix Tame Impala‘s new album, The Slow Rush.

Dubbed The Slow Rush In An Imaginary Place, the full-length, hour-long re-imagining includes every track on the new record, re-mixed to sound like you’re hearing it from a distance, as if through the bathroom door at a gig or party.

“I made something for all you isolators out there” Kev wrote in an Instagram post.

“I call it The Slow Rush In An Imaginary Place. Headphones required for full immersive effect. See you in there.”

It comes after Tame Impala recently took out triple j‘s Hottest 100 Of The Decade with ‘The Less I Know The Better’ and announced their rescheduled Australian album tour dates for December. FYI the tour will be as sustainable as possible.

Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush dropped last month, with Music Feeds reviewer Jackson Langford dubbing it “the perfect follow-up and counterpart” to 2015’s Currents LP.
