Ladyhawke Announces Return To Australia With ‘Wild Things’ Headlining Tour

Ladyhawke is leaving her New Zealand nest this July and will head Down Under for her first tour in three years.

The Kiwi singer-songwriter has announced plans to perform a trio of headlining dates along the East Coast of Australia in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, in celebration of her new album Wild Things.

The follow-up to her 2012 LP Anxiety marks a huge change in Ladyhawke a.k.a Pip Brown’s life and she’s described the disc as “cathartic”, saying she overcame a freakin’ alcohol addiction during the recording process.

“I’d never done a sober show in my life until last December,” she recently revealed.

But she’s now celebrating stability, and having a wife, which she says might be the reason she’s gone “even more synthy and poppy this time around”.

Wild Things comes out on June 3rd and you can catch its first cut A Love Song below, alongside all the details of Ladyhawke’s new Aussie tour.
