Laneway Festival 2016 Lineup Expands

The already towering lineup for Laneway 2016  has just been stacked even higher thanks to the addition of five new local acts.

The winners of triple J’s Unearthed competition will have the chance to open up the festival in their home city, kicking off a bill that features the likes of Flume, Chvrches, Grimes, Hermitude, Violent Soho, and Big Scary just to name a few.

The lucky bands are Adelaide duo The Hard Aches, Brisbane indie rockers Good Boy, Sydney foursome A.D.K.O.B, Melbourne’s Eastern Seaboard Electric Soul Experience (genre self explanatory) and Perth dream-poppers, Fait.

The Aussie instalment of Laneway kicks off at Adelaide’s Hart’s Mill on Friday 5th February, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds in Bowen Hills on Saturday 6th, Sydney College of the Arts at Rozelle on Sunday 7th, Melbourne’s Footscray Community Arts Centre on Saturday 13th and Fremantle’s Esplanade Reserve and West End on Sunday 14th.

Tickets are on sale now. Check out full lineup and ticketing details below.
