Laneway Festival 2017 Lineup Announced

Laneway Festival has announced its huge 2017 lineup, which is headed up by two big-name Aussie acts.

Tame Impala and Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker) are atop the bill, both returning to Australia after a brief absence from the local scene. Both of them played special outdoor shows at the Sydney Opera House last year, and will now return to the country to tour with Laneway.

Nick Murphy and Aussie hip hop duo A.B. Original were the two acts announced before the full lineup announced this morning, but now they have plenty more names joining them.

There’s a strong international roster heading to the country with Laneway, including Car Seat Headrest, Floating Points, Glass Animals, The Julie Ruin and Tourist.

The 2017 lineup arrives after a ‘leaked’ Laneway Festival lineup poster was found to be a fake earlier this month.

Laneway is returning to beautiful locations in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Fremantle and Sydney again in 2017, boasting a tightly curated festival experience from the food and drink to the surrounds.
