Hear Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Feature On New Song From Lamb Of God’s Mark Morton

Lamb Of God guitarist Mark Morton has unleashed a long-awaited new single called ‘Cross Off’, which features late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington in one of his final recordings.

The song, which was recorded in 2017 just a few months before Bennington’s tragic death, appears on Morton’s upcoming collaborative album Anesthetic, due out 1st March.

The track (which you can stream below) was written by Bennington, Morton, Jake Oni and producer Josh Wilbur, and also features Trivium members Paolo Gregoletto and Alex Bent on bass and drums, respectively.

Speaking about Bennington’s involvement in an interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1, Morton said, “He’s just got one of those voices, one of those once in an eon existence voices. It’s unmistakable.

“It’s just a God-given thing and you hear Chester and you know it’s Chester and such an amazing, powerful voice. So emotive as well. Just everything, it’s all there. Very personal and very unique.”

Anesthetic will also feature collaborations with the likes of Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe, Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix, Slash and Alter Bridge guitarist Myles Kennedy and more.
