Lorde Is Officially “Making Tunes” With Disclosure

Lorde has revealed she’s been making music (and drinking Oreo milkshakes) with English electronic music duo Disclosure.

Updating fans via Twitter, the Kiwi songstress announced that the artists have been collaborating on some tunes, presumably for her new album, the eagerly anticipated follow-up to her debut smash Pure Heroine.

It’s not the first time the international pop superstar has teamed up with the electro duo, either. The three crazy kids performed together at the 2014 Brit Awards, delivering a mash-up of Lorde’s monster hit Royals and Disclosure’s single White Noise, which was later released as a digital download.

But this is the first time she’s worked on original material with the duo (safely assuming the “tunes” they’ve been making together are, in fact, new).

Last month, Lorde gave fans an update on the progress of her sophomore LP, revealing that she’d entered the studio and was “taking my time to make the new stuff as good as I can.”

Disclosure, meanwhile, are preparing to unleash their own 11-track sophomore album, dubbed Caracal, on 25th September.

May the fruits of their musical collaboration be as sweet and delicious as the Oreo milkshakes they’ve been drinking in between takes.
