Meg Mac Returns With Bluesy Banger ‘Low Blows’

The soulful golden pipes of Meg Mac have come back into our lives, thanks to her brand new single ‘Low Blows’.

The driving blues-pop toe-tapper, which is the lead single from the Mac Attack’s forthcoming debut album, strikes just the right chord between the familiar and the fresh.

“I wrote ‘Low Blows’ on piano in my bedroom in Melbourne,” Mac explains. “The song is about wanting to stand up for myself – I don’t say much especially when I need to – it’s about being uncomfortable and all the things that go along with that – allowing people get the better of me.”

The tune comes packing a slick black & white video clip that was shot in Niles City Sound Studio in Fort Worth, Texas, where her new album was tracked.

The Melbourne crooner revealed that her keenly anticipated first record was done and dusted last November, and ICYMI she’s also just been announced on the lineup for this year’s Splendour In The Grass
