Music Legend James Taylor Announces 2017 Australian Tour

UPDATE 14/12/16: James Taylor has announced the addition of his first ever Canberra show to his forthcoming Australian tour.

ORIGINAL STORY: The legendary James Taylor is coming to perform live in Australia for the first time in seven years.

The iconic tunesmith has announced a handful of indoor arena and open-air performances for February of 2017, and he’ll be joined at some of the dates by some truly huge guests.

Aussie Powderfinger troubadour Bernard Fanning and country crooner Kasey Chambers will support the OG J-T at his performances in Adelaide, A Day On The Green at Queensland’s Mount Cotton and the Hunter Valley, while the veteran singer will also be performing at arenas in Sydney and Melbourne and a winery show in WA’s Margaret River.

The genius mind behind such timeless hits as Country Road, You’ve Got A Friend and Sweet Baby James, James Taylor will be coming to Australia with a songbook spanning 50 years, capped off by his latest 2015 Grammy-nominated, Billboard #1 album, Before This World.

Tickets to James Taylor’s 2017 Australian Tour go on sale from midday Friday, 28th October with exclusive pre-sales for fan club members and Telstra members (for Live Nation shows only).
