Not suggesting that it could mean that their long, long, loooooong-awaited follow-up to 10,000 Days is about to drop anytime soon, but — well — new artwork generally tends to offer a glimpse into the visual themes of new music so yeah. Just sayin’.

The hype behind the industrial rock titans’ next album came to a head earlier this year when it was reported that the band were in talks with a number of music streaming services ahead of the release of their next project. The group later teased a mysterious date, which turned out not to be for a new album, and basically we’re not surprised with anything they do anymore.

And despite this new website development, Maynard James Keenan’s other band A Perfect Circle recently shot-down our hopes of them releasing their new LP this year.

So for now, the waiting game continues. 11 years and counting…
