Is Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters About To Announce An Australian Tour?

UPDATE: Roger Waters has now announced a 2018 Australian tour.

ORIGINAL STORY: Could Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters be planning a new Australian tour?

It defs looks likely, if a new teaser from touring giants Live Nation is to be believed…

The behemoth promoter’s Aussie tour pages have just posted an enticing new .gif featuring images of Waters’ epic The Wall stage show, which saw him perform the iconic Pink Floyd album in full, backed by one of the most elaborately staged theatrical productions in music history.

The teaser clip ends with the tag line “The Show Must Go On”, AKA the title of one of the songs from Pink Floyd’s iconic 1979 album, with the promoter inviting fans to “register now”.

Could Roger Waters be bringing his The Wall stage show back to Australia for the first time since 2012?

ICYMI: Waters also released his critically cheered first solo album in 25 years Is This The Life We Really Want? a few months back, so a solo album tour could also be on the cards.

Live Nation have declined to comment to Music Feeds about what the teaser could be for, but it looks like we won’t have to wait long to find out!

Check out the promoter’s cheeky teaser below and stay tuned – we’ll bring you more info as soon as it comes through!
