Pnau Played A ‘Secret’ Aussie Reunion Show Last Night, And There’s Footage To Prove It

Aussie dance outfit Pnau have made their triumphant return to the local live stage, performing a now-not-so-secret ‘secret’ show at Newcastle’s Cambridge Hotel overnight.

Earlier this month, the Cambridge Hotel teased an upcoming reunion show from a well-known Aussie act, revealing that it’d be the act’s first Australian live show in over five years.

This sent the rumour mill into overdrive, with punters’ main guesses including the likes of Silverchair, Powderfinger and Def FX. But, after keeping the show a secret for over a week, Pnau hit the stage with some classic tracks like ‘Wild Strawberries’ and ‘Embrace’, as well as recent single ‘Chameleon’, which was performed live for the very first time.

Check out video and photos from the show, below.

Pnau’s Nick Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore reunited in 2016 after staying quiet for a few years, and dropped ‘Chameleon’ right into our hot little laps. The group are now set to perform at Groovin The Moo festival between April and May, as well as hitting up Hot Dub Time Machine’s Hot Dub Wine Machine tour.
