Rage Against The Machine Are Reuniting To Headline Coachella 2020

HOLY SHIT. THIS IS NOT A DRILL, FOLKS.

It’s been almost a full decade since we heard from Rage Against The Machine, but now – without warning – the band have announced their reunion in 2020 for a string of shows, including a headlining set at next year’s Coachella festival.

According to Consequence Of Sound, an unverified Instagram account announced reunion dates for the band that are solely along the border of Mexico and America. RATM are no strangers to political activism, so you can be sure this has something to do with that. It has since been confirmed with the publication that these dates are legit.

This will be the band’s first show since 2011, but that doesn’t mean music’s contemporaries have stopped expressing their love for the iconic band. In fact, we’ve had two standout covers of their tracks to bang our heads to this year – Denzel Curry’s viral Like A Version of ‘Bulls On Parade’ and RedHook’s cover of ‘Guerrilla Radio’ for the song’s 20th anniversary.

Last year, Coachella was headlined by Tame Impala, Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino.
