RNB Fridays will return this November, boasting a lineup that includes Miss Janet Jackson herself along with the Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent and Jaaaaason Deruuuuulo, just to name a few.
For the fourth year in a row, the concert series will be coming to Australia, stopping in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.
It’s been eight unbelievably long years since Jackson was last in the country. The five-time Grammy Award winner and undisputed RNB royalty, fresh from a residency in Las Vegas, will be bringing classics like ‘Control’, ‘Together Again’ and ‘All For You’ to the RNB Fridays stage come November.
Keri Hilson, J-Kwon and Sisqo – yes, that Sisqo, Thong Song Sisqo – will all be appearing too, and the whole thing will be hosted by none other than Fatman Scoop. There’s also a yet to be announced mystery act, and Australian RNB DJ Horizon and Yo! Mafia will be back again, spinning the latest and greatest RNB and hip-hop between live performances.
Talk about a nostalgia trip.
