Skid Row Announce 2018 Australian Tour

Written by Sam Murphy on May 16, 2018

Skid Row are returning to Australia for the first time since their new lead-singer has been playing with them.

DragonForce’s ZP Theart took over from Tony Harnell in 2016 and is now the fifth vocalist to front the band.

“I’ve been a mad fan of this band since I was a teenager, and to now be a member of SKID ROW, is beyond any sense of my imagination,” ZP said about joining the band in a statement.

He will be joined by Snake Sabo & Scotti Hill, bassist Rachel Bolan and drummer Rob Hammersmith as they play five dates in the country.

They are currently gearing up to release the third and final part of their United World Rebellion trilogy. They released their last one in 2014 so this will be the first with Theart at the helm.

“We have a lot of great ideas to work with, so we’re all really excited about this new music,” Hammersmith has said of the material which hopefully we’ll get a taste of in the live arena while they’re here.
