Sneaky Weasel Gang Announce “Bodyslide Blues” EP Release Tour

Groove monsters Sneaky Weasel Gang are the 2009 WAMI award winners for the “Best Funk Act” in Western Australia. The raucous trio combine a simmering mix of 60s type garage blues and dirty funk that’s heavily based around a good groove and guitar, and is instrumentally influenced by organ, bass and drum instrumental groups like Booker T & the MGs and The Meters.

Talented well beyond their years the 22 year olds have been firmly cementing their new identity within WA and Australia over the past 2 years and they like nothing more then setting off the dance floor. With their new release “Bodyslide Blues” under their belt and already a taste of Triple J airplay, you can expect big things to come from these Weasels.

Having just returned from the regional WA leg of the “Bodyslide Blues” EP Release Tour, the Sneaky Weasel Gang are heading to the East Coast for another comprehensive and hectic run of tour dates. All this before returning to WA for the final show in Perth.
