Steel Panther ‘Spreading The Disease’ With Buckcherry On 2013 Australian Tour

Another short-notice, high-profile, hard-rockin’ tour from Soundwave Touring has just popped up today, with glam metallers Steel Panther announcing they will return to Australia for a run of tour dates with Buckcherry in December 2013, dubbed the Spreading The Disease (STD) tour.

In the country just under a year ago, the big-haired, fantastically-named quartet of Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia will now grace our shores for the third time in two years following a Soundwave 2012 appearance.

The spandex-clad lads will be fresh out of the studio and are sure to have new tunes in hand, having been hard at work on their third full-length. They’ve drafted in cred-heavy producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Stone Sour, Meatloaf) for the follow-up to their sweat-sexy 2011 effort, Balls Out.

Joining Steel Panther on tour, fellow Angelenos Buckcherry toured Australia earlier this year, playing the inaugural Stone Music Festival off the back of their latest LP Confessions. Now the multimillion-selling hard rockers will return, ready to drop their biggest songs on audiences in anticipation of their upcoming greatest hits compilation.

Steel Panther recently won Live Act Of The Year in the 2012 Loudwire Music Awards, reigning supreme over heavyweights like Iron Maiden, Metallica and Tool. Their last Australia tour sold out in the blink of an eye, so you can be assured that there won’t be much room for delay in snapping up tickets.
