Sticky Fingers Have Sold Out A Tour They Didn’t Even Announce

Sydney rascals Sticky Fingers have somehow managed to completely sell out a three-show tour they never formally announced. The band’s three forthcoming March shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are now sold out, kicking off their 2015 in the best way possible.

The tour didn’t even seem to be advertised on the band’s socials, but a few lucky fans got wind of the shows and presumably the news spread via word of mouth.

Sticky Fingers wanted to play one last run of shows to celebrate Land Of Pleasure, before they start recording their next album in their newly constructed “STIFI” studio and rehearsal space. Despite the fact that tickets to their three March shows were being sold through venue websites, the tour remained largely on the QT.

Following the August release of their second album Land Of Pleasure, Sticky Fingers sold out second and third dates on their September/October national tour. The group also performed at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival and Woodford Folk Festival last year, and even managed to take their live show to Europe.

The group’s unannounced and now sold-out shows begin in Melbourne on Friday, 13th March. Tour details are available below, sans the option of buying tickets. Sorry.

UPDATE 20/01/15, 6:47pm: Due to the aforementioned popular demand, Sticky Fingers have added extra shows to their upcoming tour, one each in Melbourne and Byron Bay, before they head off to write and record their third album. See updated tour dates below.
