SURPRISE: Frank Ocean Returns With New Single ‘DHL’

Frank Ocean has been typically quiet as of late, but today he has well and truly returned with the surprise release of brand new song ‘DHL’.

The release of the song follows a club night he premiered in New York City, titled PrEP+, and a brand new episode of Blonded radio, which he curates for Apple Music and which ‘DHL’ first played on.

This isn’t the only bit of new music Ocean is releasing over the coming weeks, though. Having dropped a whole stack of new merch online – for the first time in ages – he has also put up two 7″ vinyls for two brand new tracks, ‘Dear April’ and ‘Cayendo’.

While ‘DHL’ is the first bout of new music we’ve had from Ocean since 2018 when he released his cover of ‘Moon River’, we haven’t had an album from him since 2016’s Blonde – which Pitchfork named the best album of the decade.

Let’s hope this new music signals a follow-up album around the corner.

Listen to ‘DHL’ below.
