Sydney Band With Confidence Removed From UNIFY Gathering 2018 Lineup

Sydney band With Confidence have been removed from UNIFY Gathering‘s 2018 festival lineup, after allegations of sexual misconduct involving minors were made against two band members. The band have also said they are now “taking a step back from touring”.

In a statement, UNIFY Gathering organisers say, “The organisers of UNIFY Gathering are aware of the allegations being made against the band With Confidence. While this story continues to evolve, we want you to know we are taking this very seriously.

“As of right now, With Confidence will no longer be playing UNIFY 2018.”

With Confidence split from their guitarist Luke ‘Rockets’ Thomas (pictured left) earlier this month, after he was accused of sexual misconduct with a minor.

The band have since revealed that they are “looking into” similar allegations against frontman Jayden Seeley.

UNIFY Gathering 2018 will take place in Gippsland, Victoria in January. Read organisers’ statement in full below, alongside With Confidence’s latest statement.
