Tame Impala National Tour Announced

After already releasing the first perfect record of 2015 and stunning crowds at Splendour In The Grass, Tame Impala have finally announced they will tour Australia this November, for their first national tour in three years.

Kevin Parker and co., armed with their much lauded third studio album Currents, will play some of the country’s most prestigious venues, kicking off on Saturday 7th November at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, followed by a special performance at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Wednesday 11th November.

They’ll then head to Perth’s Belvoir Amphitheatre on Saturday 14th November, the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide on Wednesday 18th November and then will wind things up at the Brisbane Riverstage on Saturday 21st November.

Supporting Tame Impala on all of their Australian dates will be LA three-piece Mini Mansions, the side project for Queens of the Stone Age bassist Michael Shuman, plus Zach Dawes and Tyler Parkford. They’ll be touting their psychedelic pop new album, The Great Pretenders.

Also joining Tame Impala and Mini Mansions for their weekend shows in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, will be Fremantle collective Koi Child.
