The Beards USA & Canadian Tour Knocked Back By US Immigration

North American fans of The Beards will have to wait a little while longer to be heckled, insulted and amused by the bearded totalitarians. The band have announced that they will be unable to go ahead with dates in the region after US immigration knocked back their visa applications.

Without obtaining band performance visas it’s literally illegal for the band to tour on US soil, and without those dates, it’s logistically impossible to take the show north to Canada. The band have spread their good word in the area previously, making their return all the more crucial for the region’s bearded population.

The US consulate has provided no reason as to why they felt the need to refuse The Beards back into the country. The band took to Facebook to announce they won’t be giving up without a fight and will be appealing the decision, promising to return to their North American fans as soon as possible.

The Beards Official Visa Statement

“Extremely bad news: We have been forced to cancel our upcoming tour of USA & Canada. Full refunds will be available to all ticket holders.

The entire tour was cancelled after US Immigration denied the band performance visas. The US consulate is yet to give a reason for the refusal. We will be appealing the decision and if it is overturned, we will return to America and Canada to play shows as soon as we possibly can.

We want to offer our most sincere apologies to all of our North American fans.”
