The Wild Feathers Cancel Splendour In the Grass 2014

Nashville’s The Wild Feathers have cancelled their planned trip to Australia, pulling out of Splendour In the Grass 2014.

In a statement, the band have said that they have cancelled their festival appearance as well as their Sydney and Melbourne sideshows “due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts”. The Wild Feathers have told fans that they will be returning to Australia in 2015, and are very much looking forward to the trip.

It has also been announced that New South Wales project MT Warning will be replacing the Wild Feathers for Splendour 2014. The group will take to the GW McLennan stage on Sunday, 27th July.

MT Warning released their debut album, Midnight Set, in March this year. The group are set to play tracks from that album and others from forthcoming EP Petrified Heart at this year’s Splendour In The Grass.

Tickets for The Wild Feathers’ Melbourne and Sydney sideshows can be refunded at point of purchase. Read the band’s statement below.
