Eight years in the game, and still going stonger than ever, Between the Bays Festival has announced the addition of the iconic Tim Finn, thus rounding off the lineup for the 2013 instalment of the event.
A name synonymous with legendary Australian and New Zealand music, Finn became a household name through his work with Split Endz, furthering his legacy with the seminal outfit Crowded House. Not stopping there, Finn has maintained a solid presence with his highly successful solo work, through which he released his latest effort, The View Is Worth the Climb, as recently as last year.
Taking place on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula, Moorooduc to be precise, Between the Bays offers a far more community-inspired festival than many of it’s counterparts. With plenty to occupy not only the adults, but also the kids, it’s an inexpensive way to take in a great atmosphere, with some killer tunes going down around you.
Tim Finn will be joining the Hoodoo Gurus, who will be locked in as headliners, as well as James Reyne and Band, Troy Casser-Daley and more.
