As loyal followers of the Warped Tour franchise will understand a huge part of the event is the extreme sports program, and the Australian brand of the festival will be no exception, with organisers today announcing a list of high-profile extreme athletes making the trip down.
In pure Vans style, the festival will be bringing down professional skateboarders and BMX riders, adding that extra element of risk, both vicarious and otherwise, for all in attendance. Taking things back to the old school for the skaters will be Vans Half Cabs namesake and Bones Brigade Alumni Steve Caballero, vert gnar-dogs Renton Millor and living legend Omar Hassan.
Of course, there will be plenty of room for the next generation with Neal Hendrix, Pedro Barros and more repping the grommies.
The big airs will be provided by BMX champ – and the only rider to have competed in every X-Games event – Dennis McCoy as well as the unpredictable stylings of Coco Zurita.
