Arctic Monkeys‘ fifth studio effort, AM, has proven to be one of the UK indie heroes’ most successful albums to date, netting them a whole new legion of admirers in the process. But as you can see in the band’s new, semi-NSFW vid for Snap Out Of It, admiration can sometimes turn ugly.
The clip’s production was helmed by Los Angeles-based multimedia studio Focus Creeps, who also produced the band’s video for AM single One For The Road, as well as most of the videos that came off the band’s fourth album Suck It and See, like the title track and The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala.
We’re pretty sure the new clip is full of symbolism, but to be honest we’re not completely certain of what it’s supposed to be symbolising. On the other hand, the band’s sexed-up clip for Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? was far more explicit, and we mean that in more ways than one.
