Watch: City & Colour Drop Lyric Clip For ‘Thirst’

On paper, Friday, 31st May might not be too far away, but when you’re waiting with bated breath for the release of City & Colour’s brand new album, it seems like friggin’ ages. Fear now, for today marks the release of a lyric video that is sure to somewhat sooth your unquenchable desire for all things Dallas Green.

Thirst hit radio last week and has received a well-deserved flogging from triple j, so by now ya’ll should be familiar with the jam. Deep metaphors: check, subtle jabs at a former lover: check. The track has its feet placed firmly in City & Colour territory, but there is a certain je ne sais quoi, which is sure to be expanded on as we hear more from The Hurry & The Harm.

The album will feature a small crowd of guest artists, including The Raconteurs, Caitlin Rose, My Morning Jacket and Pearl Jam.

Following up 2011’s Little Hell is sure to be no easy feat, but we’re about to watch it happen. Check out the clip below.
