Watch Queens Of The Stone Age’s Satanic AF Video For ‘The Way You Used To Do’

Queens Of The Stone Age have released an all-singin’, all-dancin’ and all-satanic music video for their recent single ‘The Way You Used To Do’, which has been described as “a fever dream Satanic dance ritual extravaganza”.

Directed by Jonas Åkerlund and shot in Los Angeles, the video sees frontman Josh Homme show off his satanic (and cool as hell) dance moves while “paying tribute to Cab Calloway and the film ‘Hellzapoppin’,” he explains.

“I fully realise that may be a little more than some are open to, and that’s perfectly fine with me. There’s the door,” Homme says.

“If some of the more close-minded are gently pruned, that just leaves more room on the dance floor for the open-minded ones to get loose. That’s been the spirit of Queens Of The Stone Age and the space we’ve worked to create from day one.”

‘The Way You Used To Do’ is the first single from QOTSA’s upcoming new album Villains, which is set for release on 25th August (pre-order here). You can watch the song’s full music video on Apple Music, or a preview down below.

A second single from Villains, titled ‘The Evil Has Landed’, landed in our ears last week.
