The third video in the Sia-Maddie Ziegler trilogy has arrived via the moving new clip for the 1000 Forms Of Fear track Big Girls Cry.
The tween dancer who first appeared in the award-winning film clip for Chandelier and then cage-fought Shia LaBeouf in the weirdly compelling Elastic Heart video is back again, this time in a less-elaborate but just as strikingly emotional short. The kind we’ve come to expect from Sia.
The video features Ziegler in her trademark flesh-coloured leotard and blonde Sia bob facing camera and contorting her face to express a slew of emotions. At one point a pair of hands come into the frame, possibly Sia’s, and begin to manipulate Ziegler’s face.
Sia revealed she would be making a trilogy of videos with Maddie Ziegler in a behind-the-scenes video for Elastic Heart (in which her face was covered by a bunch of bananas). As per the first two videos in the series, the clip for Big Girls Cry was directed by Sia and Daniel Askill, and choreographed by Ryan Heffington.
It is not known if this video marks the end of the Sia-Maddie Ziegler collaboration or if there is more in the pipeline. Watch the moving Big Girls Cry video below.
