Watch: Tame Impala Tease ‘Let It Happen’ Video

Having released, what we’ve called “arguably the first perfect record of 2015” in latest album Currents, and off the back of tearing Splendour in the Grass 2015 a new one numerous times, including alongside BFF Mark Ronson, Tame Impala are now preparing our bodies for the video for epic single Let It Happen.

Let It Happen, the first cut off Currents that we lowly humans were bared witness to back in March, is set to have its video premiere “soon”, with Kev taking to the Tame Impala Insty to preview a short clip of it.

Featuring a Guy Pierce look-a-like (or is it actually Guy Pierce? I wouldn’t put it past Kev to be able to pull in a star of his standing, would you?) the short video sees everyone’s worst nightmare coming alive, with the protagonist dealing with a plane losing its shit mid-flight.

That, my friends, is a big bowl of steaming NOPE. Unless it ends with Maybe Guy Pierce crash-landing on a mysterious mystical island and battling a smoke monster, which’d be cool.

Check out the short preview via Tame Impala’s Instagram below, and stay tuned to Music Feeds for the official music video for Let It Happen, any day now.
