Watch This Aussie Maniac Drum Foo Fighters’ Entire Discography In 5 Minutes

It’s times like these that make you wanna learn to drum again. Notorious Newcastle-based skin belter Kye Smith has resurfaced with a brand new self-produced drumming chronology. The Aussie drumlord, who has previously won over the internet with similar 5-minute mashups of big bands including Green Day and Blink-182, has returned to tackle the mighty Foo Fighters.

Smith, who gets extra points for sporting an impressive Freddie Mercury-style ‘mo, becomes a turbo-charged Taylor Hawkins in his most recent clip, cranking through 20-years’ worth of Foo faves in the time it takes to microwave a bag of popcorn. The beatsmith warms up with 1995’s Self-Titled and smashes his way all the way through to 2014’s Sonic Highways, covering all the classics along the way.

He couldn’t have timed this better, either, with Foo Fighters due to tour Australia in just under a week.

Check out the video, which Smith posted on his official Facebook page today, below. The Novocastrian beatman has also uploaded drum chronologies for some of his other favourite bands in the past, including NOFX, Rise Against and Frenzal Rhomb.
