Vance Joy has returned to the triple j Like A Version studio for a stripped-back cover of one of Sia‘s biggest hits, ‘Elastic Heart’.
The folk-pop singer-songwriter kicked things off with a performance of his original song ‘We’re Going Home’, backed by his full band.
After that, it was time for his solo cover of ‘Elastic Heart’, which converted the Sia epic into an intimate acoustic ballad. Watch both performances in full, below.
Vance Joy was nominated for three awards at this year’s ARIA Awards, and claimed one if them on Wednesday night, picking up Best Adult Contemporary Album for his latest album Nation Of Two.
Vance Joy will perform at Fairgrounds Festival this weekend, before touring as part of the 2018/2019 Falls Festival lineup over the New Year’s period.
