The xx have just finished a seven night residency at London’s O2 Arena and they had a big surprise in store for their final audience.
They brought out Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine to play their remix of ‘You Got The Love’.
The British trio remixed the Florence track back in 2009 and they performed it together at Glastonbury in 2010 but they haven’t linked up often since then.
Florence was the final guest to join them on-stage following guest appearances by Robyn, Cat Power and Savages during other performances.
The xx released their third album I See You back in January while Florence hasn’t released a record since 2015’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.
