World’s End Press Announce Early 2014 Shows

Melburnian indie 4-piece World’s End Press have been racking up the accolades of late, and if you’re in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, the boys have just announced headlining shows in your city for you to see what all the hype is about. Score.

It’s been a whirlwind journey for World’s End Press since the release of their Australian Music Prize long-listed debut record, with the outfit touring with Hot Chip, Bloc Party and Cut Copy, as well as wowing audiences last weekend at Meredith Music Festival and announcing a string of dates opening for Phoenix around the country in 2014.

You can catch World’s End Press in the flesh at OAF in Sydney on 13th February, in Brisbane at Black Bear Lodge the following day, and at a free gig at the Nation Gallery of Victoria on 28th February. They’re also playing the very sold out Secret Garden Festival, as well as joining the Australian Open as part of their music lineup.

UPDATE 1:08pm 07/02/14: WEP have announced the supports for their upcoming shows as Retiree and Alex Cameron for Sydney, Young Franco and Palindromes at the Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane, with a new show announced for Newcastle with support from Goldsmith and Huskarl.

World’s End Press will then go on to play the Secret Garden Festival, before supporting Phoenix on their Australian tour in March and making an appearance at the Mountain Sounds Festival. They will then support Melbourne’s Architecture in Helsinki during their album launch tour.
