St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Melbourne – 30/01/10

Kurt Davies is smashing his lens cap straight through your noggin this week with some rad shots from the 40 degree heat of St Jerome’s Laneway festival in Melbourne.

People were up in trees trying to get a look at Mumford and Sons, Brendan Suppression from Eddy Current Suppression Ring jumped the barricades mid set and Dirty Three blew the metaphorical roof of the joint as Warren Ellis channelled Jim Morrison while shredding his violin like Jimmy Page’s Gibson, not to mention Daniel Johnston who proved good health and clear headedness has very little to do with Rock n Roll.

Keep an eye out for my full review where I’ll let you know who rocked and who sucked eggs.
