At Home With Hitmaker Benny Blanco

While you may not immediately recognise his name, chances are you are already familiar with the work of Benny Blanco. The Virginia born producer and songwriter is behind some of pop’s biggest hits, having worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Kesha, Sia, The Weeknd, Kanye West and many more.

Now, the hitmaker is moving from behind the scenes to centre stage, having just dropped his debut album FRIENDS KEEP SECRETS, featuring cameos from Blanco’s star friends like Halsey and Khalid (‘Eastside’), Calvin Harris (‘I Found You’), Ty Dolla $ign and 6LACK (‘More/Diamond Ring’), Juice WRLD and Brendon Urie (‘Roses’) and more.

So clearly there’s no better time than the present to get to know the man the New York Times dubbed “the most popular oddball in music”. In this video feature, Benny Blanco takes you into his plant-consumed home, through his hit-making studio (around his leg massage machine and bong) while regaling us with stories of weirds up his music with the biggest stars in pop.

FRIENDS KEEP SECRETS is out now.
