After waiting for over two years since their mini-album, Auntie Flo have finally delivered their debut album Theory Of Flo and with it have dropped a video for their dance floor burner So In Love.
The ever-building, tribal-tinged track has been given a psychedelic, animated visual to go with it, full of colourful, geometric work. If you stare at it long enough you’ll definitely be put into a trance given that its soundtrack is also deeply hypnotic.
So In Love features the vocals of the lead-singer of British band The Noisettes, Shingai Shoniwa. Her voice is chopped and screwed, splayed across the joyous soundscape as to help build the song’s glorious finale.
The album very much delivers on a similar aesthetic and is fronted by an album cover that looks very similar to this video. It’s likely you’ll hear more than a few Auntie Flo tracks on the dance floor this summer.
