Ball Park Music are making a name for themselves in Australia at a head spinning pace. Following the release of their album Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs, the band has been doing huge things, playing massive shows at festivals like Groovin the Moo, not to mention a killer set at the Select 7th Birthday gig.
We caught up with Sam and Jen prior to their show to find out what makes the band tick. Already the band is cracking to get their next album out, booking studio time and writing non-stop, aiming to have it out by the end of the year, much to the delight of punters all over the country. The guys chat about what it was like having Public Enemy watching them from Side of Stage while at the Canberra leg of Groovin the Moo. Despite the rush of playing festivals, the band still finds plenty of love in the small club shows they still frequent.
Touring, recording, releasing and adopting a greyhound, Ball Park Music have their hands full for the rest of the year.
