BIGSOUND 2014: The Bennies Talk “Crunchy Reggae”

Melbourne ska champs The Bennies have taken the Feeds part of our name quiet literally and our chat at BIGSOUND 2014 quickly divulged into a conversation involving more than a few food puns. Feeds’ Mike Hohnen was happy to oblige.

We actually caught them just one day before their national tour kicked off. “It should be a medium to large size tour…not an entree but a main course,” explained the band. On the road they planned on offering up some “crunchy reggae” to fans, as well as a “tapas of different songs”.

The boys have just wrapped up another national tour alongside the Dead Kennedys, and right now they’re in the States before they head home for the massive Soundwave 2015.
