Boy & Bear – ‘Limit Of Love’

To turbo-boost their national tour which has just kicked off this week, Boy & Bear have just unfurled a brand new music video for their single Limit Of Love.

It forms the title track off their acclaimed third studio album, which made its debut at number 1.

The single was recorded live-to-tape in the inspirational surroundings of Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studio, and frontman Dave Hosking says it was inspired by the dark side of love.

“I’ve seen lots of friends lose themselves while searching for love,” he said. “We all need to be loved and when people don’t get their fix, it can drive them to do strange things. We liked the idea of looking at love as a drug, something more sinister, something we quite powerfully depend on.”

The song’s video was directed by Oh Yeah Wow, the same team responsible for the band’s J Award-nominated Walk The Wire.

Hosking explains: “We really love the Oh Yeah Wow guys. This is our third time working with them and they never disappoint. This time it’s elegant, beautiful and hypnotic.”
