Celia Pavey – ‘Red’ (Acoustic)

Sydney-based singer-songwriter Celia Pavey has just wrapped up touring her latest EP, Bodies. Pavey recently took some time out to perform a stripped-back version of delicate EP cut Red for Music Feeds, backed solely by her acoustic guitar.

Birds and traffic can be heard in the background as Pavey softly strums through Red, complementing her intimate performance and the song’s choice lyrics.

Pavey, whose Irish ancestry can be heard in her folk compositions, came in third on the The Voice Australia in 2013, and is now moving on to bigger things. “I’ll probably do a few more EPs,” she told Music Feeds in a recent interview. “And we’ll see how it goes but I’ll definitely be doing an album in the long run. Or more.”
