Homeboy Sandman – ‘Talking (Bleep)’

New York rapper Homeboy Sandman returns with Talking (Bleep) the first taste of his upcoming third album Kindness For Weakness set for release on Stones Throw on May 6th. Featuring a beat by Edan, the song is a diss track to anyone who talks shit.

“Edan had the ill beat and was like yo this sounds kinda like when people talk mad shit you should speak on that,” the rapper said of the song’s lyrics.

“I was like word. The onslaught of people talking mad copious amounts of shit is the ongoing barrage. That’s what the video is about,” he said.

The video takes that idea one step further, seeing Homeboy variously square off in a kung fu throw down, rooftop shootout and street side foot chase. The production values might leave a little to be desired, but it more than makes up for that with plenty of action.
