Interview: Architecture In Helsinki at Groovin The Moo 2011

With the recent release of their fourth studio album Moment Bends on Modular, Architecture In Helsinki have been busy as all hell recently, playing at Playground Weekender as well as the recent Groovin The Moo festival as well as performing at the Opera House as part of the Modular curated Vivid line-up. Known for their wide array of different instrumentation and their ever evolving sound, the band led by Cameron Bird have taken a very different direction with Moment Bends, leaving their whimsical expansive pop sound in the past in favour of a more human and direct sound. We caught up with Bird at the band’s Groovin The Moo appearance in Maitland to discuss the release of the new album and what the band’s been up to so far this year.
