Interview: Broods Talk Their Huge 2014

New Zealand duo Broods have had a massive 2015, including multiple festival appearances, sold-out shows, a debut EP and a successful debut album in Evergreen. Vocalist Georgia Nott and older brother/multi-instrumentalist Caleb Nott recently sat down with Music Feeds to discuss the last 12 months of their musical lives.

The duo, who have toured with the likes of Ellie Goulding and CHVRCHES, have clearly learnt a lot from their relentless touring. “It’s just kind of nice to see how grounded and together they are, even though their life is super hectic,” Georgia said. “It’s inspiring, it gives you something to kind of aim for.”

What was a highlight of 2014? Performing at Splendour In The Grass, according to Caleb. “Every time we come back to Australia, the shows seem to get bigger and better, which is a good sign,” his little sister noted.
