Interview: Cradle Of Filth – “We Weren’t Quite Right For The Chinese”

As you may have heard, key players in the extreme metal movement Cradle Of Filth are currently in Australia, and prior to their performance at Sydney’s Hi Fi on Saturday, 11th May, we caught up with their fearless leader Dani Filth for a chat.

The band will be bringing with them their 2012 album The Manticore & Other Horrors for their first shows in Aussie soil in 4 years. We can’t be too mad, though – as you’ll find out, China and the US missed out altogether. We also chat about Filth’s upcoming adult comic book and his thoughts on the recent dramas in metal, with arrests and deaths involving major bands As I Lay Dying and Obituary.
