Interview: Eiffel 65 At Fat As Butter 2012

Eiffel 65 like to rock hard. That’s what they told us on several occasions backstage at Fat As Butter yesterday, where they joined the likes of Good Charlotte, Grinspoon, 360, Yellowcard, and fellow early 2000’s pop sensations Wheatus for a day of smooth tunes on the Newcastle foreshore.

The Italian pop maestros gave us their infectious hit Blue (Da Ba Dee) in late 1999, and followed that up the next year with another dance floor smash called Move Your Body. Then, they disappeared.

Or so we thought! More than a decade later, they still love playing together and working a crowd, which is exactly what they’ve been doing on their current tour of Australia with N-Trance.
