Interview: Flight Facilities Talk Debut Album ‘Down To Earth’ And Channelling The 90s

Hugo Gruzman, one half of Sydney producer duo Flight Facilites, sat down with Music Feeds prior to the release of the pair’s debut album Down To Earth, sharing both his excitement and nerves about the album’s release.

Gruzman and his partner in crime, James Lyell, were super-psyched to share their debut album. “We were saying it’s kind of like a Christmas in a way, where you’ve got someone a present and you just want them to open it,” Gruzman said.

While channeling 90s hip hop in pockets of the album, Flight Facilities attempted to make music which would stand the test of time. “What we try to do is make songs that we’re gonna want to listen to in ten years,” Gruzman explained.
